Head Marala (a hydro engineering project) is situated on River Chenab near Sialkot in Punjab Province.
It is a flood & flow control system on the river. The headwork was built in 1968 & has two major water channels i.e. Marala Ravi Link Canal & Upper Chenab Canal.
The place is a famous picnic spot & provides beautiful views of landscape.
